Operates equipment and trucks, performs sewer maintenance and repair. Assists with maintenance of building and grounds assigned. Assists in all sewer maintenance and/or construction operations. Does related work as assigned under direct and indirect supervision. Must be available on an emergency basis or stand-by, subject to 24-hour on-call status.   • Operate backhoe, front end loader, trucks, skid steer, compressor with air hammer, jet rodder, sewer televising equipment, tractor mower.
  • Read and understand GIS maps.
  • Maintain accurate written records.
  • Work in confined spaces as necessary to maintain storm and sanitary drainage systems.
  • Use hand-held tools, i.e., shovels, etc. for a full work shift.
  • Perform snow removal operations during the winter.
  • Maintain daily reports/paperwork.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and functions.
  • Ability to use various hand tools.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class ?A? or Class ?B? Commercial Driver?s license within 60 working days with endorsements as noted: Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License: Class ?B? Commercial Driver?s License: Air brake Air Brake Combination Vehicle Tanker
