About The Position

The position involves preparing machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information. The role requires checking production status within and between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations. Operators will perform operations while controlling machine and production processes, following documented procedures and processes. Inspecting manufactured parts, identifying defects, and discarding defective parts while following proper protocol is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the operator will support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime, and inspection of machines. Adherence to all safety and production rules is essential, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
  • Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good visual acuity.
  • Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
