Job Summary Operator I is responsible for performing basic manufacturing tasks such as assembly, equipment operation, material handling, and/or inspection under close supervision. Follows exact instructions and standard procedures, works alongside team members, and helps maintain a clean and safe work area while learning skills and processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0–3 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs as needed.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment, if required.
  • Basic teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn from others

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing or production experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned manufacturing tasks, such as assembling components, operating equipment, handling materials, or inspecting products, by closely following work instructions and guidance from experienced team members.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections to check product quality and report any issues to a lead or supervisor.
  • Accurately complete traceability forms and production documentation with support as needed.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Help maintain cleanroom or general work area standards and participate in housekeeping activities.
  • Operate assigned equipment or tools under direct supervision, reporting any malfunctions or questions.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and actively learn from supervisors and teammates.
