About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Operator I - 1st Shift. The core hours are 7am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is 16.80 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirements. Sets up, starts, and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshoots or adjusts machine controls as required. Operates a variety of machines as directed by supervisor or lead. Completes changeovers and material feed-through. Completes first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists. Uses gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Experience using various measuring instruments and reading blueprints.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
