About The Position

Hutchinson Resonetics is seeking an Operator I to join their team for a temporary summer role, working Monday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This position involves the advanced operation of a chemical machining work center, processing components with minimal written or verbal instructions. The employee will need to become familiar with procedures and will receive general supervision. There may also be opportunities to provide leadership and direction to newer or more junior employees. The role emphasizes participation in a team environment within a company focused on medical device manufacturing innovation.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment
Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.

Responsibilities

Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer specific process requirements. Must be able to comprehend documentation requirements.
Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Employee may be required to adjust system settings within established guidelines.
Inspect components to ensure specifications have been met.
Enter data and report issues as required.
Take responsibility as directed for all required process documentation.
Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follows instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Resonetics policy and good safe labor practices.
Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources only in a manner that is safe for all Resonetics employees and visitors, considering various wavelengths of laser light.
Conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.
