About The Position

The Operator I position is responsible for running and maintaining production equipment in a safe and efficient manner under the direction of the Production Supervisor. This role involves ensuring food safety and quality, adhering to safety practices, and completing assigned tasks within scheduled time frames.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Food Processing, Food Service, Assembly Line, or Sanitation.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to demonstrate and practice safety work habits.
• Effective teamwork skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to demonstrate alpha and numeric matching skills.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Follow all required work safe practices, including wearing PPE and adhering to safety protocols.
• Responsible for food safety and quality in the designated area.
• Complete assigned work within scheduled time.
• Load required materials for production as needed.
• Clean machines and work areas at the end of the shift.
• Ensure machines are functioning properly and safely.
• Notify the Supervisor about equipment and production issues.
• Follow all GMPs and company safety policies and procedures.
• Attend all required training programs, including safety meetings and chemical handling training.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Assist team members with their job duties when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
