About The Position

As a key member of our Extrusion & Fabrication team, you will: Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and secondary machines to produce a wide variety of belting products. Utilize automated equipment to fabricate high-quality standard o-rings to required specifications, meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Follow all work instructions associated with the responsibilities of the position. Accurately enter time and scrap data into E1/DSI systems. Perform butt welding and assess weld quality. Efficiently operate work cells #1, #2, and #3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S standards and principles. Perform monthly preventive maintenance (PMs) on equipment. Follow all EHS policies, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions. Uphold and promote Fenner Precision Polymers’ values and behaviors at all times.

Requirements

  • Has a high school diploma or GED.
  • Has a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing and machine operation environment.
  • Demonstrates good mechanical aptitude and skills.
  • Is detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work.
  • Can follow written procedures and work instructions.
  • Works well in a team and communicates effectively.
  • Is safety-conscious and maintains a clean, organized workspace.
  • Is adaptable to changing priorities and open to learning new processes.
  • Is willing to grow and take on new responsibilities.
