About The Position
We are hiring an Operator I (Assistant Operator) to support the setup and operation of high‑speed converting and finishing equipment. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who want hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with room for growth.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced equipment
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability and attention to safety
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of converting and finishing equipment
- Support webbing the line, adjusting tension controls, loading rolls, and changing parts/tools
- Read and follow job tickets to ensure correct materials and components
- Monitor product quality and communicate issues when needed
- Perform minor mechanical adjustments and help troubleshoot equipment
- Maintain accurate counts and complete required documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean work environment
