Requirements

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • A strong sense of self-motivation and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Forklift Certified or experience

Nice To Haves

  • Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills

Responsibilities

  • Safety first and contributing to the safety culture
  • Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations
  • Ensure correct raw materials are brought to production area
  • Dose raw materials into blending operations
  • Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues
  • Package and palletize finished product
  • Responsible for keeping production area clean
  • Housekeeping duties, such as running sweeper in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up
  • Hand-sweep, shovel, and/or wheelbarrow as directed
  • Provide operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas
  • Clean up material and return to proper ore piles, containers, and/or trash area as directed
  • Work in a neat and orderly manner and minimize loss
  • Regularly operate forklifts
  • Other duties as required by management to maintain an efficient operation
