The primary purpose of this position is the operation of various lines/equipment, ensuring production line rate, and maintaining a safe workplace while producing a quality product.

Requirements

• Two years mechanical training or previous work-related skill, knowledge in packaging/production environment.
• Basic math, reading, writing and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product quality and productivity.
• Operate equipment within validated perimeters.
• Help identify and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance following a predictive maintenance methodology.
• Change over the equipment according to production requirements to avoid unnecessary downtime.
• Make minor machine adjustments and document the work done.
• Maintain correct set-up specs and its documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read and complete all required production documentation (e.g. Required Quality Checks and other reports).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines.
