About The Position
Duties & Responsibilities: Maintenance on all ornamental plantings, ex: fertilizing, watering and pruning Installation of plant material Spray/record all chemicals Maintain mulch/pine straw areas Operates small equipment Operates construction equipment (ex: loader/backhoe) Supervise crew as required Works some weekends Safety Requirements: Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs. Uses personal protective equipment as trained and required. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Reports safety or hazard concerns to management. Reports any on the job injury to management. Takes personal responsibility for safety every day. Qualifications: Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscape installation required Knowledge of plant material Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
