About The Position

The Operator Helper position is primarily responsible for facilitating the movement of products and materials, including dumping, packing, stacking, and operating the production line under the direction of an operator. The role requires the ability to work in various areas such as flake drums, raw receiving, and sorting, while utilizing the company's inventory management system and being certified to operate a forklift. The position emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in performing essential duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience working around processing equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification required and must maintain certification.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and perform cleaning instructions.
• Ability to accurately record and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the movement of product and materials.
• Dump, pack, and stack products as required.
• Operate the production line and basic equipment under the operator's direction.
• Adhere to Idahoan Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Comply with all safety regulations and attend safety meetings.
• Follow directions from operators and multi-task effectively.
• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and reassemble after cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, floors, and work areas.
• Assist in clearing plug-ups and cleaning messes.
• Alert the operator of any upset conditions or problems.
• Train others as needed.
• Complete special projects or assignments as assigned.
• Assist with any production position during breaks.
