Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour shifts (7:00–7:00). Rotates between day and night shift every 4 weeks. Pay Rate: $38.18 Summary: Primary in depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation. Secondary responsibility in mechanical. Installs, modifies and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment to maximize performance, reliability and uptime while controlling cost to established guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years of formal technical training or equivalent in electrical craft.
  • Three years electrical experience for primary craft.
  • Should be capable of entering information into computer software systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP system.
  • Knowledge of the operation of shop equipment.
  • The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or equivalent training industrial millwright experience for secondary crafts preferred.
  • Rigging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uses the SAP Computer System.
  • Plans, orders materials and schedules.
  • Completes activities under the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation sections.
  • Reads and interprets electrical electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, instruments loop sheets and technical manuals.
  • Installs and maintains complex electrical, electronic and pneumatic measurements and control systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs variable speed motor drive systems.
  • Reads and follows practices set forth in the National Electrical Code.
  • Selects and uses all standard electrical/electronic and instrumentation test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and maintains power distribution system.
  • Calibrates critical Spunbond process measuring equipment.
  • Installs and fabricates instrument components.
  • Modifies control loops, movement and replacement of instruments, and addition and deletions to the systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain instrumentation system and components, including control valve system.
  • Maintains charts/log and records
  • Follows area housekeeping and safety rules.
  • Operate shop and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Actively participate and contribute to cross-functional teams.
  • Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs boiler dowtherm systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems.
  • Operate, troubleshoot and repair forklifts.
  • Reads and understands blueprints, sketches, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Performs precision alignment tasks using laser systems.
  • Able to perform basic millwright tasks.
