The Forklift Operator (2nd shift, 2:00pm – 10:30pm) is within our Auto/Car Care/Prestone division and is responsible for moving goods around warehouses using a sit-down forklift. This role is located at our Alsip, Illinois facility. The expected compensation for this position is an hourly rate of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications and is bonus eligible.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform at a high level of safety standards and requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing
  • Minimum of six (6) months sit-down forklift experience.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, storing and relocating materials within the warehouse and facility.
  • Locating and moving stock for storage, shipment or production lines.
  • Inspect completed pallets for visual damage or product leaks.
  • Transporting raw materials to production workstations.
  • Inspect equipment to determine the need for repairs and ensuring safety.
  • Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs.
  • Complying with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
