About The Position

The Disposal Operator at Select Water Solutions is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the disposal well system, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and worker safety standards. This role involves maintaining the disposal area, monitoring equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of disposal activities.

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Working knowledge of the disposal business.
• Ability to lubricate equipment.
• Ability to climb staircases and work on catwalks of 15'-25'.
• Ability to download and use inspection applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle according to insurance guidelines.
• Dependable and reliable work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to execute duties based on instructions with minimal supervision.
• Exhibits qualities of a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall upkeep and appearance of the disposal area.
• Gauge and record necessary information related to oil, water, and pressure retrieval daily.
• Monitor water pumps and trucks during salt water disposal.
• Retrieve oil from working pits/tanks.
• Unload lines, discharge, and relieve valves or other equipment related to fluid disposal.
• Generate and document third-party tickets and other necessary documentation for disposal activities.
• Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete tickets accurately and ensure they are signed by drivers.
• Facilitate smooth transitions between day and night shifts by communicating current status and potential issues.
• Perform daily follow-up calls with drivers/pushers to ensure fluid delivery.
• Attend company meetings as requested.
• Follow company policies and procedures to improve efficiency and driver compliance.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area to ensure worker safety.
• Report and correct unsafe conditions or practices.
