About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced, physical work environment? We are seeking a dedicated Operator Cooker Trainee to join a premier food manufacturing team in Ponder. In this role, you will be responsible for the precision cooking and chilling of products, ensuring every batch meets rigorous safety and quality standards. This is a vital position within our production cycle that offers stability and a path toward a long-term career.

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift over 100 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Environmental Resilience: Comfort working in extreme temperatures, including coolers (<40°F) and freezers (<0°F).
• Basic Education: High school diploma or up to one month of related industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Safety Mindset: Ability to follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE (including steel-toe boots and bump caps).
• Communication: Must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English (Bilingual skills are a plus).
• Strict Professional Dress Code To maintain food safety and sanitation standards, the following are strictly prohibited : No jewelry, earrings, or piercings. No fake lashes or fake nails (Gel, Acrylic, or Dip). No shorts, torn jeans, tank tops, or flip-flops.
• Required: Steel-toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Process Monitoring: Set up, monitor, and adjust oven temperatures and time controls to ensure product quality.
• Product Management: Manage the movement of products in and out of cookers and into chilling areas.
• Equipment Handling: Transport heavy racks (weighing between 350–400 lbs) throughout the facility.
• Quality Control: Calibrate cooker probes and maintain accurate documentation of cooking and cooling cycles.
• Compliance: Adhere to all food safety guidelines, specifically understanding work instructions and FSIS requirements.
