About The Position

The Operator Blending/Loading is responsible for blending lube oils, loading and shipping finished products via truck, rail, and barge, and ensuring compliance with Federal Railroad Department of Transportation (DOT) and U.S. Coast Guard regulations in Sanford, NC. This role ensures the safe and efficient blending, loading, and shipment of lube and fuel products while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (General Studies).
• Experience: 0-3 years in railcar/tanker loading, blending, or filling.
• Knowledge of railcar and tanker operations.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance (DOT, USCG).
• Experience with shipping documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Generate Bill of Lading (BOL) for water/glycol shipments.
• Maintain paperwork within the Main Office filing system.
• Load and unload trucks and railcars safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and USCG regulations for safe product transport.
• Operate railcars, tankers, and blending equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Work in adverse weather conditions when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
