Requirements

Strong aptitude in fine mechanical and PLC adjustments required to produce precision-quality finished products.
Capable of troubleshooting and resolving all types of Perfect Bind quality issues
High mechanical aptitude
Self-motivated with the ability to train and direct team members
Positive attitude and able to work well with others
Willingness to work overtime on unscheduled days
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
Essential functions of this job require the following: the ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects

Responsibilities

Operate Perfect Binder machine effectively and safely according to standards to ensure a quality finished product
Perform and document preventative and routine maintenance as needed or assigned
Read and understand binding instructions
Run the perfect binder at established speeds to reach daily production goals.
Ensure proper functioning of safety devices (i.e., guards, stop buttons)
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned
