Pactiv Evergreen is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for their Conyers, GA location. This position is available for immediate hiring and involves overseeing all production equipment, ensuring efficient operation of heavy machinery, and producing quality products. The role requires the ability to troubleshoot machine-related problems and provide support to less experienced personnel. The operator will work on a 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard operating levels, including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machine-related problems through proper adjustments to various machine parts.
  • Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Complete appropriate end-of-shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.
  • Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects.
  • Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines.
  • 1-year experience in a fast-paced production environment with some mechanical knowledge of industrial systems.
  • Complete required training/documentation to be a B - Operator within specified time frame.
  • Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills, and effective communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 12-hour shift.
  • Competitive starting pay range of $20.52-$22.65 per hour, paid weekly.
  • Shift Differential of $2.00.
  • Sign-On Bonus of $1,500.
