The Operator Assistant Trainee position at Halliburton is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start a career in the energy industry.   • Learn basic safety, repair, and operations procedures on equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in the completion of pre and post job equipment inspections and associated paperwork.
  • Assist in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment, including high-pressure iron and hose connections.
  • Complete preventative maintenance procedures and maintain support equipment.
  • Assist in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.
  • Practice safe driving procedures when traveling to and from locations.
  • Complete training as required following the Company's learning development system.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement or a Class B license depending on product service line.
  • Satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to pass background, physical, and drug screen.
  • Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long work days, and/or irregular work hours.
  • Industry leading training in field operations.
  • Potential lodging and rotating schedule depending on job location.
