About The Position

The Operator Assembler I will be responsible for operating and tending manufacturing machines, per prescribed work instructions, to create parts or products. This position is also responsible for quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and moving of product. 2nd shift schedule is Monday - Thursday 3:45pm - 1:45am

  • Knowledge of basic math concepts
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specifications
  • Operate hand equipment and tools used in the assembly process
  • Ensure quality products are being produced by following work instructions and inspecting parts
  • Read and understand Operational Quality Inspections (OQI’s)
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (gauge pins, calipers, tape measure)
  • Maintaining daily production rates
  • Communicate issues with equipment, material, or processes
  • Perform assembly and secondary operations
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
