About The Position

TekniPlex Healthcare is a respected business partner that specializes in the manufacturing of medical and pharmaceutical packaging for companies around the world. We aim to deliver better patient outcomes by manufacturing products that allow for less invasive procedures, reduced pain, faster healing, and safer drug delivery. We are currently hiring an Operator 3, located in Ridgefield, NJ. This position is under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for the producing and/or packaging quality products on one of the production line to customer specifications. This person is also responsible for maintaining the line, troubleshooting, setting up the line, performing screen changes, being prepared for change overs and assigning lot numbers. This person must be capable of performing all employee tasks and other duties as required and assigned. This is a 2nd shift opportunity (4:00 pm - 12:00 am). The pay for this opportunity is $24.40 plus shift differential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production and production related activities on a manufacturing line.
• Ensure the correct raw materials are used in blending operations.
• Manufacture products according to established formulas and processing conditions.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and retained material collection.
• Maintain cleanliness of all manufacturing equipment.
• Record raw material usage and production numbers.
• Ensure correct packaging is used and label finished goods.
• Perform material balance calculations and complete all related production paperwork.
• Limit scrap generation and troubleshoot simple issues on the production line.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
