About The Position

The Production Support Operator at Graphic Packaging International is responsible for supporting the case erectors and production control within the plant. This role involves ensuring the timely delivery of erected cases, training personnel, performing operational tasks, and maintaining quality standards. The operator will also handle material as needed and operate various machinery, including forklifts and balers, to support production efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to multi-task with ease.

Responsibilities

• Support gluer uptime by ensuring erected cases are delivered in a timely manner.
• Train case erector personnel on shift.
• Perform case erector make readies.
• Perform operational PM tasks on case erectors.
• Execute SAP work orders on the case erectors.
• Assist with conveyor jams.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming corrugate.
• Operate the down stroke baler.
• Organize and maintain corrugated inventory for use on the WOS gluers.
• Stage corrugated for case erectors.
• Operate four balers; properly load baling wire to ensure minimum of four wires per bale.
• Perform daily baler operator inspections and cleaning.
