Leidos is seeking a Watch Officer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in the Tysons/McLean, VA area. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph. The Watch Officer will play a crucial role in supporting Government staff by developing a wide range of written products that aid senior leadership and U.S. Government policymakers on a 24x7 Watch. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where the Watch Officer will be responsible for monitoring intelligence traffic, producing daily situational awareness products, and maintaining situational awareness of global events through various reporting channels. The Watch Officer will act as the primary point of contact for the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and will be responsible for alerting the ODNI Front Office and leadership about significant events that may require executive attention. This includes forwarding intelligence reports to senior leadership and ensuring the distribution of critical information such as CRITICS and NSA reporting. The position also requires the Watch Officer to conduct communications testing and represent ODNI in various official business conference calls. The role demands a high level of collaboration with IC partners to maintain awareness of issues significant to ODNI leadership. The Watch Officer will also be required to mobilize to designated alternate facilities during emergencies and demonstrate the ability to operate these facilities. The work schedule follows a Panama Schedule, which includes rotating shifts of 12 hours, with two weekends worked every five-week rotation. A 15% premium shift differential may apply to certain hours worked.
