About The Position

Summary: The Operations Training Specialist provides support, training, and guidance to promote a safe work environment through the Company's Health, Safety and Environment objectives and programs. The Operations Training Specialist proactively provides instruction and guidance to all levels of employees to promote employee development, minimize injury, accidents, and environmental releases. The Operations Training Specialist supports operations in all safety and environmental training requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist in delivering standard training modules under supervision or with support. Conduct field-based safety and procedural walkthroughs. Observe and document trainee performance; provide basic feedback. Promote safety culture and correct unsafe behavior in real time. Provides New Hire, On-the job, and re-certification training in a classroom setting as well as in the field. Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies. Performs routine maintenance on all equipment assigned to the training center Perform all required inspections. Completes required records including rosters, evaluations, summaries, and test Responsible for recording and communicating student work hours. Performs other duties as directed by management. Qualifications At least 5 years of hands-on experience on workover rigs (minimum 3 years in an operator role). Basic understanding of rig components, workover procedures, and well control principles. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with trainees. Competent in using basic training materials and conducting on-site demonstrations. Able to follow a structured training program with limited customization. Must have strong and effective communication skills Must be able to work in fast-paced environment Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relationships with team Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and handle physical demanding work Must be able to work at heights Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment This job operates in an outdoor and indoor environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme cold, heat, wind, rain, etc. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work as job duties demand. Requirements
