About The Position

The Operations Training Manager at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is responsible for ensuring that the resort's culture and operational standards are upheld through effective training and development across all Operations departments. This role focuses on aligning training programs with the company's core values and enhancing guest satisfaction through improved associate skills and performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum two year degree from an accredited university in a related major or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a leadership training role, preferably within a Four Diamond hotel or resort.
  • Strong platform skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other programs.
  • Broad understanding of hotel operations, systems, and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Training Certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drives Omni values and philosophies through all associate training, events and activities.
  • Ensures all training and development programs are strategically aligned with the Six Pillars.
  • Conducts onboarding training, continuing skills, service and systems training, monthly training presentations, and compliance training.
  • Conducts leadership development programs.
  • Identifies performance gaps and partners with leaders to develop and implement appropriate training to improve performance.
  • Designs and implements programs to increase guest satisfaction and associates' job skills in collaboration with the Senior Training Manager and Operations leaders.
  • Measures the effectiveness of training to ensure goals are met and a return on investment.
  • Promotes and informs associates about all training opportunities and associate activities.
  • Makes necessary adjustments to training methodology and/or re-trains as appropriate.
  • Maintains training records and ensures full participation and compliance.
  • Participates in strategic planning and execution of departmental initiatives.
  • Acts as an internal 'PR Agent' for Operations, creating motivating communications that inform and engage associates while recognizing their accomplishments.
  • Coordinates and facilitates associate activities and events.
  • Responsible for administrative duties related to the above accountabilities.
