About The Position

The Operations Technician at Schoeller Allibert US, Inc is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools and hand tools.
• Familiarity with assembly lines and the ability to fabricate and assemble products.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of factory safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Plastic Mold Injection Machines, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including monitoring production lines, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and forklifts to fabricate and assemble products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and production issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, production levels, and inventory levels.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and report any safety concerns or incidents to management.
