About The Position

Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products. The Production Tech position is available at our Company's Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The Worthington facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. Leveraging an experienced and innovative team environment, the key technologies at the site are biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms and filling and freeze-drying.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills are required
  • General knowledge of reading, mathematics and computer skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate and work in cooperation with other employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Biology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Running steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machines, and a dry heat oven.
  • Preparing and cleaning equipment
  • Cleaning and disinfecting clean rooms
  • Good communication, document, and computer skills are required.
  • You will work individually or with other people.
