As an LNG Operations Technician III, you'll lead critical tasks to maintain LNG facility equipment, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee operations like cryogenic liquefaction and vaporization systems. Requirements

  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
  • Carry and lift items that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination (following a conditional offer of employment)
  • Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
  • May be required to work overtime, 10–12-hour shifts, extended hours, and travel between William's locations with occasional overnight stays
  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years related experience in natural gas industry experience or equivalent experience (Operations Technician II - LNG and Operations Technician III - LNG)
  • High School Diploma/GED (Operations Technician I - LNG)

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or 2-year technical degree and technical licenses/certificates (Operations Technician III - LNG)
  • Associates or two-year technical degree (Operations Technician II - LNG)
  • Associates or two-year technical degree; minimum six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or operations technician summer internship with Associates Degree (Operations Technician I - LNG)

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks to safely maintain equipment and support operations; tests, calibrates and validates process safety devices and equipment
  • Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems
  • Follows all company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
  • Installs and maintains electrical equipment associated with power distribution systems and electrical safety code, applying technical skills, proficiency and technical leadership in the following areas: Electrical Switchgear, Instrumentation, Measurement, Motor Controls, Control Loops, Distributive Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, AC electrical systems and DC electrical systems
  • Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
  • Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance
  • Troubleshoots, operates, repairs and maintains mechanical and electrical systems including both low and high voltage equipment and uninterruptible power supply systems; removes, repairs and reinstalls sensing elements for flow, temperature, pressure and level measurement
  • Other duties as assigned
