Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain airport badging.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test (this includes the recreational use of Marijuana)
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
  • Capable of bending, twisting, lifting, and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods.
  • Perform general manual labor.
  • Be comfortable working with heights.
  • Open availability and flexibility with scheduling.
  • Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning Duties: The Technician must be flexible and adaptable, supporting a wide range of operational services including facility cleaning, landscaping and grounds maintenance, and aircraft cleaning (interior and exterior) as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain the exterior grounds of the facility to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Operate commercial landscaping equipment, including zero-turn lawn mowers, to mow and maintain 100+ acres of property, ensuring grass is kept at appropriate height and appearance standards.
  • Cut and trim vegetation along fence lines and perimeter areas to prevent overgrowth, maintain visibility, and protect facility infrastructure.
  • Manage and control weed growth in sand and dirt parking lots, utilizing appropriate tools, equipment, or approved treatments to keep parking areas accessible and presentable.
  • Trim grass, shrubs, and vegetation along the perimeter of buildings and facility structures, ensuring proper clearance around entrances, walkways, and operational areas.
  • Inspect exterior grounds regularly to identify landscaping, drainage, or maintenance issues and report concerns to leadership for resolution.
  • Maintain and safely operate landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas ensuring a high level of hygiene.
  • Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling bins throughout the facility.
  • Clean and disinfect common areas such as bathrooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms.
  • Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
  • Perform interior aircraft cleaning, including vacuuming carpets, wiping tray tables, cleaning galleys and lavatories, sanitizing seating areas, and removing trash and debris to ensure aircraft are ready for passenger service.
  • Conduct exterior aircraft washing using approved equipment, chemicals, and procedures to safely clean aircraft fuselage, wings, windows, and landing gear areas while protecting sensitive aircraft components.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary products are available for use.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all internal and customer safety policies. Report any hazards, injuries, or concerns promptly to supervisors.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate scheduling needs to your supervisor and maintain open lines of communication with co-workers, supervisors, and on-site management.
  • Attendance: Follow Foxtrot handbook policy 605 on attendance, ensuring consistent and reliable presence at work.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all cleaning tasks consistently meet the quality expectations of the station, taking pride in your work.
  • Time Management: Verify hours worked before the end of each payroll cycle to ensure accurate compensation.
  • Training Compliance: Complete all required training as mandated by Foxtrot Aviation to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate with team members and supervisors to understand priorities, timelines, and daily goals, contributing to a positive work environment.
