About The Position

If you like hands-on work, high-tech systems, and being at the heart of complex operations, this role was built for you. As an Operations Tech Specialist at Centrus Energy, you’ll help bring advanced manufacturing and plant systems to life—from installation and startup to daily operation and performance testing. You’ll work side-by-side with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting a mission that directly impacts the future of clean energy. You’ll operate, monitor, and maintain production and support equipment to meet manufacturing and operational goals. This includes supporting equipment turnover from construction, assisting with startup and functional testing, adjusting systems manually and through computer controls, responding to alarms, and documenting operational activities. You’ll perform inspections, support procedure development, assist with select maintenance activities, and help ensure all operations meet safety, quality, security, and regulatory requirements—all while keeping systems running reliably across normal, off-normal, and emergency conditions.
