This position is on-site and located in Silver Peak, NV. The role will have split responsibilities in both an office setting and in the manufacturing plant. What You Will Do Monitor process and equipment conditions and troubleshoot upsets. Help optimize process to maximize OEE Provide technical reports to Production Supervisor Define, measure, and maintain KPI's Coordinate maintenance activities and schedule Develop and lead operator training sessions Assist other departments (engineering, safety, maintenance, etc.) as directed Write energy isolation plans for LOTO Uphold all applicable safety standards Developing and execute small to moderate scale continuous improvement projects. Provide coverage for operators on a limited frequency Lead incident investigations Participate in Emergency Response Team and meet associated physical requirements. Able to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb stairs, use hands, sight, touch, hear, speak, smell, climb ladders, and balance on uneven ground Other duties as assigned. What You Bring Required: High school diploma or equivalent 5 years' experience in a manufacturing plant. Combination of experience and education may be accepted. Knowledge of hazardous materials and general PSM Able to troubleshoot chemical process equipment and systems. Experience with Microsoft Office. Ability to read P&ID’s and other technical drawings to locate equipment in the field Able to support business needs outside of normal business hours on occasions. Ability to work in a team environment Preferred: Associates or Bachelors degree. Experience in a chemical plant, specifically operations, maintenance, engineering, or safety. Experience with SAP and other computer proficiencies.
