About The Position

The Operations Team Member retrieves product(s) from bins, transports to shipping area, helps to prep items for shipment, receives new products, helps load/unload trucks, and other routine warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment including walkie riders, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Possess a positive team player mentality and be goal oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, and up to 167 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand, lift, twist, bend, kneel, and stoop during a 10-hour shift, or longer if overtime is necessary.
• Ability to work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment, with occasional exposure to outside elements when helping to load, unload, or redistribute products.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently builds loads for outgoing delivery vehicles by pulling product(s) from correct locations utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Delivers orders to shipping area and secures product on pallets using appropriate shipping materials.
• Uses a walkie rider, forklift or pallet jack to assist with pulling orders as needed.
• Follows safety rules and safe work practices.
• Ensures working area is clean and tidy daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned, assist co-workers when necessary.
