About The Position

Members of the Operations team are responsible for providing the on site technical support required to ensure timely execution of experiments within the lab. As an Operations Lead, you will work closely with the Shift Manager on duty to motivate, assist, and provide guidance to 15-25 team members. It's an intellectually challenging role, requiring dynamic problem-solving, excellent people management skills, and troubleshooting prowess. A successful individual in this role will become familiar with all operations within the lab, getting to know the processes, hardware and software, used to carry out experiments in the cloud lab. As an Operations Lead, you will be a key voice in driving for continuous improvement. Whether resolving logistic issues in the warehouse or identifying ways to improve productivity of team members, this role requires a firm commitment to data driven solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading small teams to improved productivity & quality (strongly preferred).
• 3+ years experience working in a GMP or Life Sciences environment.
• Experience applying systematic troubleshooting methodologies to complex technical problems.
• Willingness to learn computer programming (no prior experience necessary, but it is a welcome bonus!).
• Familiarity with common industry best practices (Lean, Six Sigma, etc).
• Excitement about working in a dynamic fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities
