About The Position

Summary of essential job functions Oversee U.S. and Offshore Logistics Coordinators for the Philadelphia branch Coach, develop, and conduct one-on-one performance management for all operations staff. Manage team of AETs and AEs to grow. Lead coordination with the billing department, managing unbilled reports and cash flow for assigned branch. Manage carrier relationships and oversee the claims management process. Drive and execute operational KPIs to improve efficiency and performance. Administer vacation and time-off requests for operations staff. Maintain direct communication with Operations, Account Executives, and Leadership teams. Partner with Sales Leadership (Director of Sales, SOLs, GSMs) to develop growth strategies and ensure operational execution. Identify and resolve capacity constraints across branch. Demonstrate strong proficiency in logistics systems, technology, and tools to secure equipment for customer shipments. Train and mentor staff on negotiation techniques, including classroom instruction. Ensure all scheduled loads are covered and executed daily. Monitor IT projects & enhancements to increase usage and collect feedback Support training and development of new Logistics Coordinators in both U.S. and offshore teams. Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • Two years relevant experience in logistics and transportation industry
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Work on site five days a week
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Must exhibit the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and understand how to prioritize workload in order of importance.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
