Franke Coffee Systems is looking for an Operations Team Lead to support day-to-day warehouse operations across Shipping, Receiving, and Bench Testing. This role is key in keeping workflows on track, supporting team members, and driving efficiency, quality, and safety across the operation. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Warehouse/Production operations.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Bi-lingual not required but a plus.
  • Warehouse Operations Knowledge: Solid understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and safety/5S standards.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to direct daily work, support team members, and reinforce accountability.
  • Communication & Coordination: Works effectively across teams to resolve issues and keep operations on track.
  • Problem Solving: Addresses day-to-day operational challenges with sound judgment and timely decisions.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Recognizes inefficiencies and supports practical improvements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with warehouse systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support oversight of warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with company policies, safety standards, and performance targets.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to Material Handlers and Material Handler II employees, helping prioritize work and address issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and meet customer and production requirements.
  • Execute operational plans and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor daily schedules and workflow to maintain service levels across all functional areas.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper transaction handling.
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are available to support uninterrupted workflow.
  • Train and onboard employees in designated areas, reinforcing standard work and expectations.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards; address and escalate non-compliance as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to Lean and 5S practices.
  • Step in to perform Material Handler and Material Handler II responsibilities as business needs require.
