About The Position

Are you a tech‑savvy problem solver who loves keeping critical systems running at peak performance? As an Operations Systems Technician , you’ll be at the heart of our technology operations—supporting core banking systems, automating processes, resolving issues, and ensuring our business systems are secure, reliable, and always available. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work with Windows‑based systems and the Symitar Episys core platform, manage automated job scheduling, support system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams across the credit union. Your work directly supports our employees and members—making a real difference every day. This role has the ability to be based out of Antigo, Wausau, or Neenah provided space is available. The position may require frequent travel to Antigo and other branches in order to present trainings.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in education or business, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience creating educational materials and presenting to large and small groups
  • Experience with providing organizational training and facilitating employee skill development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coach others to perform
  • Strong knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office and Windows software programs

Responsibilities

  • Works with other departments to ensure training content is current, supports job expectations, and is compliant with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all new and promoted staff receive timely training.
  • Develops and presents organizational programs providing staff with broad skills, knowledge and development opportunities (i.e. Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Change Management, Leadership skills).
  • Ensures job coaches are well-trained and conducts training for coaches.
  • Ensures that materials for employees who need to obtain certifications (i.e. Notary Public and Medallion Guarantor Certification) are distributed in an efficient and effective manner and coordinates training when applicable.
  • Maintains strong knowledge and expertise in functional areas in which Employee Development is expected to train by periodically working in those business units, consulting with managers, and/or observing others performing the job duties.
