  • Learn the factors that influence the coating changeovers.
  • Understand the scheduling process.
  • Create a tool to optimize the schedule for reduced changeover time while also reducing the time to create the schedule.
  • Modernize the 4 databases used by the Materials departments in Slides and Fluids Manufacturing if time permits.
  • Present a PowerPoint presentation on work to a cross-functional group.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the Fall Semester 2024 at an accredited university or college.
  • Fields of Study - Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering & Applied Sciences, Operations Management.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to start on either June 2nd or June 16th.
  • Ability to complete a consecutive 10-12-week internship.
  • Must have work authorization in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Proficient to perform programming in at least 2 current computer languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize the most impactful actions.
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Rising Junior or Senior at an accredited university or college.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
  • Previous experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Paid internship program for 12 weeks.
