About The Position

As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to be considered. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. The Business Operations Systems Research Analyst – Ops Support serves as an Action Officer to identify and assess capability and integration opportunities with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the U.S. Army. The Action Officer will provide recommendations on integration strategies between the Army GEOINT Office (AGO), NGA, and National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) partners. The Action Officer attends meetings, working groups, and solutioning sessions and drafts executive level summaries to inform senior decision makers on key Line of Effort developments. They develop a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder positions, and Army GEOINT Doctrine while identifying and analyzing opportunities to advance and modernize Army strategy and capabilities. The analyst will collaborate with relevant stakeholders and serve as an integral member of the Army GEOINT staff.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the past 10 years analyzing GEOINT, GEOINT systems, and technical data.
  • Current DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance and SCI eligibility.
  • Experience with NGA, Army systems, and IC partners.
  • Familiarity with modern intelligence architecture and integration strategies.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Army GEOINT/NGA certifications related to capabilities, acquisitions, or other relevant areas (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Attends meetings, drafts Executive Summaries, and represents official Army GEOINT positions to senior leaders at NGA, DAMI G2, and INSCOM.
  • Analyzes Army GEOINT Doctrine, National and Army Level Strategies, Concept of Operations, and other key documentation to inform and support key decision makers.
  • Serves as an Army Geospatial Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) in working groups, in support of Army GEOINT Community Lines of Effort.
  • Identifies and assesses capabilities and integration opportunities between the AGO, NGA, Army, and NSG partners.
  • Develops a deep understanding of AGO's organic Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities and systems.
  • Identifies capability gaps between the Army and mission partners, providing in-depth analysis.
  • Proposes strategic solutions to address and bridge GEOINT capability gaps.
  • Collaborates with Army GEOINT Community stakeholders to develop and implement integration strategies for enhanced mission support.
  • Delivers detailed reports, including capability assessment reports, integration strategy recommendations, and gap analysis documentation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
