About The Position

Operations Support Supervisor – West Carrolton, 2 nd Shift Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound activities to ensure all departments’ KPI’s and goals are achieved in both dock and inventory areas of the facility. Key Responsibilities: Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations Wear or use required protective equipment while working Report hazardous conditions and any job-related injury or illness to the employer and seek treatment promptly Provide plant deliverables in both Crown and customer systems as required Direct the work of production support personnel, material handlers, and inventory specialist; provide support in production when needed Serves as liaison to other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas in the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management as well as supporting with training and supervising new employees, tracking, and measuring staff performance Coordinate, communicate, and expedite priority orders for customers Monitor HOLD areas, and ensure products are rotating out in a timely manner to eliminate lead time issues Review operating reports and directs the resolution of inbound /outbound product, quality, and inventory to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays Perform administrative activities with the effective management of inbound dock operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving inventory data reports Participate in special projects and perform other duties as signed by Plant Manager Evaluating and reporting department metrics to senior management Work with the Plant Manager on developing strategies to improve inbound and outbound metrics and performance Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Minimum associate degree or H.S./GED diploma with 3-5 years related experience Demonstrate attention to detail and possess problem solving skills Able to meet all mandatory training for the posted position Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and all reporting software Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Excellent customer service orientation An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills Able to sit, walk and move around for long hours at a time Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required, including weekends If you are a motivated and driven individual looking to expand your career in production, we encourage you to apply.
