About The Position
The position involves coordinating personnel actions and serving as a liaison between Branch/Section Chiefs, employees, and the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) staff. The role includes assisting Branch/Section Chiefs on various procedural and policy matters related to personnel functions such as recruitment, position management, classification, employee/management relations, employee entitlement, awards, and training. The incumbent will monitor the status of all personnel actions via the DCPDS system, provide updates to Branch/Section Chiefs, and ensure deadlines are met. Additionally, the position requires tracking performance appraisal schedules, serving as the point of contact for mandatory training, coordinating training courses, and managing employee in-processing activities. The role also involves providing overhead support to project offices execution tracking.
