About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Support Specialist for our SUD team. The Operations Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in operations and client support at our center, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained and innovative approaches are integrated into our programs. This position oversees both administrative, client and medical assistant duties. We’re looking for someone who is capable with standard clerical tasks such as typing reports, filing documents, ordering supplies … and someone who can also schedule and manage client appointments, prepare medical reports, and even handle client specimens where needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. Education with Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Psychology, Health Services, or Social Work is a plus!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to connect with a diverse client base
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Tech Savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, multi phone line and spreadsheets
  • Desire to learn medical and billing terminology
  • 1+ year of work in a fast-paced office or professional setting.
  • Negative TB test within past year
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and/or random drug screenings

Nice To Haves

  • Drug and Alcohol Counseling Credential or Internship Preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ year of medical or administrative work experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Arranging and managing client appointments and arrange transportation
  • Logging and processing bills or expenses
  • Answering and taking calls
  • Managing databases
  • Keeping client EMR information up to date
  • Prepare medical/clinical reports
  • Ordering medical and office supplies
  • Collecting specimens (UAs), perform and record vitals as needed
  • Support clinical team with client needs
  • Maintain positive and upbeat connections with clients
  • Provide feedback and communication with supervisor and clinical team about observations and suspicious behavior
