About The Position

This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for construction activities and operational deliverables inside a Hazard Category 2, Security Classification 2 radiological facility at LANL. Your oversight will directly impact mission success, regulatory compliance, safety performance, and the timely delivery of complex projects supporting the DOE mission.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance
• 15+ years of construction experience, including 5+ years supporting DOE mission activities
• Demonstrated experience managing construction in a radiological or high-hazard nuclear facility environment
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, work control, and compliance requirements in a DOE setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Field Work Supervisor or Responsible Line Manager in a DOE facility
• Familiarity with NQA-1 standards and DOE O construction/operations requirements
• Experience managing subcontractors and collective bargaining agreement compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of mission deliverables for construction activities and operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, efficiency, and on-time completion
• Ensure work is performed safely and delivered on schedule within a Hazard Category 2, Security Classification 2 radiological facility
• Maintain compliance with Laboratory policies and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Organize and oversee operations in construction and field controls
• Lead and supervise workers and subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality standards
• Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and schedule performance
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements
• Apply knowledge of NQA-1 standards and DOE facility requirements across all project phases
