About The Position

An exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Manager has arisen for our Indianapolis, IN team. As the Operations Support Manager, you will be a key contributor to the improvement strategy for the business and support the development of improvement strategies. Leadership, drive and agility in the delivery of End to End (E2E) process level step-change value added projects is essential. You will drive change management by influencing and coaching leadership, management, and teams across critical processes and specialty functions on Lean and Six Sigma improvement. In this role you will travel domestically up to 80% with occasionally travel to the UK. Why Rolls-Royce? Requirements

  • Associate degree with 7+ years of supply chain, engineering, quality or operation experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supply chain, engineering, quality or operation experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of supply chain, engineering, quality or operation experience, OR JD/PhD, OR 9+ years of supply chain, engineering, quality or operation experience in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

  • Lead business improvement transformation and lighthouse projects that will deliver the performance/user experience improvements using the most appropriate lean, agile and six sigma problem-solving tools and techniques
  • Manage the objectives and development of deployed Improvement resource and ensure continued engagement of a business improvement population
  • Drive and sustain the maturity of the relevant production system across the business against minimum standard criteria
  • Coach the organization and business leaders in lean six sigma and develop lean capability
  • Manage improvement capability in the organization, identifying appropriate training as necessary
