General Summary Th is position is responsible for ass e m b l ing customer and store grills as well as several select products as directed by the supervisor . The operations support ass ociate will work out of our Customer Fulfillment Cen ter or a store l ocation.
Requirements
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacture ass e m b l y directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using w hol e numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) .
- Ab ility to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with ass istance , and climbing.
Responsibilities
- Ensure items are ass e m b l ed according to the manufacturer’s directions.
- Perform the minimum daily ass e m b l y outputs as provided by the supervisor .
- Report any defects or damages of any parts immediately to the supervisor .
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment.
- Properly dispose of all waste accumulated during the ass e m b l y process.
- Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all ass ociates.
- Report all customer satisfaction issues to the supervisor .
- Perform other related duties and special projects as ass igned.
