The Center for Academic Retention & Enhancement (CARE) at Florida State University is seeking a dedicated individual to act as the first point of contact for the department. This role involves providing service and assistance to both internal and external constituents through various communication channels including multi-line phone, email, and direct contact. The successful candidate will disseminate information regarding the department's programs and services, coordinate with student staff and other supervisors to ensure consistent message delivery, and assist in facilitating department operations. Additionally, the position requires maintaining effective office procedures and providing general office support, which includes managing office equipment, distributing mail, and preparing outgoing mail. The candidate will also serve as a backup purchasing agent for the department, staying informed about University Purchasing Policies and procedures, and assisting with human resources recruitment processes during peak recruiting seasons.
