About The Position

Belden's Operations Internship offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over the course of twelve weeks, you will gain hands-on experience creating real business solutions while also developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge. As a member of our 2026 Internship Program, you'll be fully immersed with a global team of Operations experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves personally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You'll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study
  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework
  • Analytical, determined, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal evaluation of supply chain processes and procedures and work to identify areas or methods for continued improvement
  • Communicate with existing or potential vendors to identify areas of opportunity
  • Review and complete plant manufacturing processes and assist in development of standardized processes or improved systems
  • Support various manufacturing development trials with our engineering teams
