About The Position

The Operations & Supply Chain Summer Intern will support key initiatives within the operations teams. This role will focus on process improvement, data analysis, and project execution to optimize operations. The intern will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to strategic business goals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, engineering processes, and lean methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or project experience in supply chain or engineering is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Support engineering projects related to process improvement, automation, and production efficiency.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, and Tableau.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and distribution, to drive operational improvements.
  • Assist in implementing lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Research and present recommendations for process enhancements and technology adoption.
  • Participate in team meetings, present findings, and document key takeaways.
