About The Position

The Operations Supervisor at HomeGoods is responsible for overseeing the efficient, productive, and safe operation of a department within the Distribution Center. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring high levels of quality and service, and maintaining a motivated workforce. The supervisor will spend a significant amount of time on the floor, directing associates and ensuring that production requirements are met while fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing diverse teams of 20+ associates.
• 4-6 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• High School diploma required; College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, coaching, and development skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.

• Experience in a distribution or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities within the department, including planning, flow, and resource allocation.
