About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for all functions, procedures and results associated with the location’s service network and is a key contributor to global operations performance of Hoover Circular Solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of operations experience in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience in supply chain and logistics planning.
  • Knowledge of regulations surrounding packaging and shipment of dangerous and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally when using such means as, but not limited to email, telephone, documents, and presentations.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of flexibility, commitment and performance standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and 6S principles a plus.
  • Background in the refining/petrochemical catalyst industry.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 6S Principles a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and practice of ZERO HARM policies.
  • Satisfy customer expectations regarding quality, timeliness, communications and other areas. Communicate with customers as required to support Hoover Circular Solutions drive to develop customer loyalty.
  • Ensure direct reports are abiding by departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures aligned with expectations of Hoover Circular Solutions leadership.
  • Maintain and ensure that all above SOPs are being followed. Coordinate training on company policy, especially HSE and operational performance.
  • Supervise the movement of equipment across customers, processors, and service centers to optimize a balance of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for shipping/receiving and all aspects of performance for service centers, both direct and via 3rd party.
  • Work in coordination with other regional Managers to track and plan inter-regional fleet movements; identify and implement best practices and establish common SOPs across regions.
  • Identify and implement activities to achieve goals, areas of cost and efficiency improvement.
  • Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
  • Support personnel activities such as selection, training, or evaluation.
  • Maintain operational compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
